The New Orleans Parrot Head Club (NOPHC) chapter of the PHiP was created to promote friendships and organize social activities for people with similar interests including enjoyment of the tropical spirit of Jimmy Buffett’s music.

In addition, the NOPHC is a non-profit corporation and encourages its members to participate in  a variety of volunteer efforts in the local, regional and national community for social and environmental causes.  In the process of making new friends and having fun, we believe in leaving something positive behind. Our club is open to anyone with the tropical spirit and desire to contribute to the betterment of their communities. NOPHC Membership Point System

All members receive a quarterly newsletter and are eligible to participate in all NOPHC and PHiP sanctioned events.

NOPHC has a reciprocal membership agreement with the Baton Rouge, Biloxi, Mobile, and Montgomery Parrot Head Club’s. This allows all of our members to participate in each other club’s events at the same cost as regular club members. NOPHC holds monthly meetings. The location and times are listed on our Calendar page.

Membership in the New Orleans Parrot Head Club is open to everyone. The NOPHC provides a couple of ways to join! You can bring your membership information and dues payment to any NOPHC meeting or function… or, you can fill out our Membership Application and mail it and your $20 initial membership or renewal dues to the following address:

***** Membership in the NOPHC does not give the member license to use Jimmy Buffett’s name, song titles, lyrics, names of businesses or other trademarked, copyrighted or reserved material owned by Jimmy Buffett. Each member of the NOPHC is responsible for his or her own actions and behavior whether positive or negative. Since Parrot Heads are known to enjoy a cold one or two, we heartily support use of a designated driver.
